About Kolsetu

Kolsetu began in Autumn 2024, not as a startup idea, but as a decision: we weren't going to let broken systems stand in the way. We would build something better.

Our co-founders, Virendra and Ben, were two expats working to build lives in Germany. They spoke the language well enough to manage day-to-day life , but that didn't help when it came to booking a doctor's appointment, calling a city office, or dealing with insurance paperwork. Accent misunderstandings, confusing forms, and endless hold music turned simple tasks into exhausting ordeals.

It wasn't a language problem. It was a system problem , one that quietly wastes time and erodes dignity for millions of people every day.

So instead of accepting it, they started building.

By Spring 2025, Kolsetu was founded with a clear purpose: to lift human voices and carry them across the systems that too often ignore them. To be a bridge , not between languages, but between people and the outcomes they need. At our core, we exist to eliminate the communication overhead that stands between intent and resolution.

The result is Elba , an AI agent who handles the admin no one has time for. She books appointments, calls support lines, fills out forms, and speaks 98 languages and dialects, with healthcare-grade security at her core. Elba doesn't replace people , she ensures they're heard.

What began as a lifeline for expats has grown into a platform for anyone , entrepreneurs, service providers, customers , who needs to be understood without friction or delay.
